Born in Berlin, Germany (1883-1942), immigrated to Israel in 1920. He studied architecture in Berlin, and worked in that city until he immigrated to Eretz Israel. One of the well-known houses he designed in the city of Tel Aviv is the "Pagoda House" at 12 Nachmani Street . In 1927 he returned to Berlin, where he worked in the office he founded. In 1932 following the rise of the Nazis in Germany he moved to Paris, France. In 1942, Alexander Levy was sent to the Auschwitz extermination camp, where he was sent to his death.
