The sign is on the wall of the house where Akiva Aryeh Weiss lived - an architect and urban planner, born in Grodno, Belarus (1868-1947), immigrated to Israel in 1906.
He founded and managed the association "Ahuzat Bayit" which founded the city of Tel Aviv.
He designed several houses, including a cinema, public buildings and private houses in the city of Tel Aviv.
The sign was placed in 2010 in the centennial year of the city of Tel Aviv.
