On the sign:
סמל העיר תל אביב ביתו של עקיבא אריה ויס (תרכ"ט-תש"ז 1868-1947) יוזם ומייסד אחוזת בית - תל אביב
THE HOME OF AKIVA ARYEH WEISS INITIATOR AND FOUNDER OF AHUZAT BAYIT - TEL-AVIV
The sign is on the wall of the house where Akiva Aryeh Weiss lived - an architect and urban planner, born in Grodno, Belarus (1868-1947), immigrated to Israel in 1906. He founded and managed the association "Ahuzat Bayit" which founded the city of Tel Aviv. He designed several houses, including a cinema, public buildings and private houses in the city of Tel Aviv. The sign was placed in 2010 in the centennial year of the city of Tel Aviv.

Although YAkiva Aryeh Weiss does not belong to the "Artists who live in Tel Aviv" category, the commemorative sign is identical in format to the commemorative signs of artists who live in Tel Aviv, so this sign was also added to that collection.
