Hahagana street
The settlement of Kfar Yona was on the eastern front line, from its inception until the Six Day War.
Haganah Street served as the eastern border of the village until the liberation war. From its earliest days, the village suffered from Arab harassment, whether by destroying the orchards and uprooting them, or by stealing up to the days of the 36 events and the war of liberation.
During the events, the villagers themselves maintained that most of them were members of the Haganah, served as guards and were also wage watchers at guard organizations. The weapons were stored at Nocta - a guard spot, which during the War of Independence also served as a military force and was located on the western side of the "Maayanot Hasharon" storage pool and in the Slikim (hiding places), because of the prohibition on the mandate to hold and use weapons.
