Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where the painter Joseph Mallord William Turner (1851-1775) lived and worked.
Turner was one of the greatest painters in Britain, and was best known for his landscape paintings.
He lived in this house from 1846 until the day of his death. In this house he lived with his lover Sophia Caroline Booth, and was known as Mr. Booth or Admiral Booth

On the sign you can see a color palette which of course symbolizes the painter.
