במרתף בבניין זה, "בית הילדים הגדול" לשעבר, שכן לפני קום המדינה ובמלחמת העצמאות, סליק סודי.
הוסתרו כאן כלי נשק וציוד צבאי לא חוקיים, ששמשו את ההגנה המרחבית.
הפתח המתוחכם לסליק, פרי דמיונם היוצר של חברי הקיבוץ, הוסווה במטבח בית הילדים, עד שהסליק נחשף בשנת 1968, כשהבניין הוסב לבית המוסדות של הקיבוץ.

The Slick
In the basement of this building, the former "big children’s home", before the establishment of the state and during the War of Independence, there was a secret Slick.
Illegal weapons and military equipment, which were used for territorial defense, were hidden here.
The sophisticated opening to the Slick, a product of the creative imagination of the kibbutz members, was hidden in the kitchen of the children’s home, until the Slick was revealed in 1968, when the building was converted into the kibbutz’s institutions.
