כאן היו תלויים בראשית ימי הקיבוץ שני פעמונים שצליליהם היו שונים: הפעמון הגדול שימש לאזעקות, והקטן - לצרכים היום-יומיים (למשל: שארוחת הצהריים כבר מוכנה).

The Great Courtyard’s Bells
Two bells were hung here, and each of them had a different sound: the bigger bell was used for alarms, and the small one - for dally chores (such as announcing that lunch is ready).
