TOOL STOREROOM

Tool storeroom
This shed was one of eight buildings that made up the cooperative yard. The shed, with its two-slope roof, housed the agricultural machinery and also housed small workshops.
In 1928, close to the settlement of the kibbutz founders in this yard, the building was demolished and a plastered concrete residence was built in its place, and it had six rooms. The residence was designed by the architect Richard Kaufman.
After a certain period, the building was converted into a children’s home, to which a nanny’s room was also added. Since the beginning of the 21st century, a cafe has been operating there, which bears the name "Golda in the Yard".
