THE CITY OF BATH - WORLD HERITAGE SITE
The World Heritage Symbol commemorates the inscription by UNESCO of the City of Bath on the World Heritage List in 1987. This identifies the city as a masterpiece of human creative genius whose protection must be the concern all.

The sign is found on the building of the King’s and Queen’s baths, which was built on the basis of the Roman baths Click for sign's details. The baths were built in the 12th century, when the queen’s baths were added in the 16th century.

Bath is defined as a world heritage city mainly thanks to these baths.
