תחנת כח - רדינג | Reading Park | محطة توليد الكهرباء ريدينغ

במקביל להקמת תחנת הכח ב-1937, נבנה נמל תעופה, שנועד לפתור את בעיית התנועה היהודית בא"י בזמן המרד הערבי הגדול וכן ולתת מענה לעובדי חברת החשמל, שעבדו בנהרים שבצפון והיו צריכים להגיע למרכז. נמל התעופה שימש כשדה אזרחי וצבאי והיה "שותף" פעיל במתן הנחיות ודרישות לגבי תכנון הפארק, בעיקר בקביעת איסורים כגון: גובה הגשר, גובה עמודי תאורה ומיקומם, איסור על נטיעת עצים מחשש שציפורים תקוננה במקום ותפגענה במעופן במטוסים. לאחר שנים של דיונים, בשנת 2019, ניסגר סופית השדה ובמקומו תקום שכונת מגורים של כ- .16,000 יח"ד

At the same time as the construction of the power station in 1937, an airport designed to solve the problem of Jewish movement in Israel during the great Arab uprising was built. The airport was also meant to provide a solution for employees of the Electric Company who worked in the rivers in the north and had to travel to the center. The airport served as a civilian and military field and was an active "partner" in providing guidelines and requirements regarding the planning of the park, mainly in determining prohibitions such as: the height of the fence, the height and location of lighting poles, and for a ban on planting trees for fear that birds will nest and be a danger to aircraft. After years of discussions, in 2019, the field was finally closed and a residential neighborhood of about 16,000 units will be built in its place.

بموازاة إقامة محطة توليد الكهرباء عام 1937 ، بني مطار، والذي كان هدفه حل مشكلة الحركة اليهودية في أرض إسرائيل خلال الثورة العربية الكبرى، وكذلك لتلبية حاجة العاملين في شركة الكهرباء الذين اشتغلوا في نهرايم في الشمال وكانوا يحتاجون الوصول إلى مركز البلاد. استخدم المطار للأغراض المدنية والعسكرية وكان شريكاً فعالاً في تقديم التعليمات والمتطلبات بخصوص تخطيط المتنزه، بالأساس فيما يتعلق بالممنوعات، مثل ارتفاع الجسر، ارتفاع وموقع أعمدة الإنارة، حظر غرس. الأشجار خشية من أن تعشش الطيور في الموقع وتضر خلال تحليقها بالطائرات. بعد سنوات من المداولات عام 2019، أغلق المطار كلياً ويُقام مكانه حي سكني يشمل نحو 16,000 شقة سكنية.
