HÔTEL DE VILLEBRESME
Hôtel construit à la toute fin du 15e siècle pour l’un des membres de la famille de Villebresme, propriétaire du château de Fougères sur Bièvre. La demeure se distingue par son plan deux bâtiments sont situés de part et d’autre de la rue et sont reliés par une passerelle en pans de bois. Son décor est d’esprit gothique: petits acrobates sur les consoles de la passerelle, fenêtre moulurée et ornée de culs de lampe et un engoulant, figure d’un monstre à l’extrémité de la poutre horizontale, la sablière.

This town house was built at the end of the 15th century for one of the members of the Villebresme family, the owners of the château of Fougeres sur-Bièvre. The residence has en unusual plan - two buildings stand on either side of the street and are linked by a timber frame walkway. Its decoration is Gothic in style with small acrobats on the walkway brackets, a moulded window frame decorated with pendants and the figure of a monster at the end of the horizontal beam.
