Comments:
The sign belongs to the series of signs depicting outdoor sculptures throughout the city of Tel Aviv - Jaffa.

The statue shows two cats dozing/guarding cubes with the words: Yes, No (in Hebrew) (on the back of the statue Yes, No)

On the website of the sculptor the work is described: "The Sleepers depicts two cats as the guardians of ’Yes’ and ’No,’ caught in slumber. The work puts forward a question about the fragility of agency, a moment when these pivotal terms stand unattended. In this unguarded state, The Sleepers manifests the blurred boundaries and the delicate nature of our ability to make choices and maintain moral stances. Reflecting on the implications of weakened agency and the complexities that ensue, and highlighting the weight of neglected affirmations or ethical objections."
