Comments:
Hippolyte Marie François Perrau was born in Bordeaux in 1890. He was a member of the "National Front" (Front national), an underground linked to the communist movement.
In 1940, during a police raid on his house, communist posters from the pre-war period were discovered. After a long imprisonment he was sent in 1942 to the Auschwitz camp. He died in the camp hospital on July 20, 1942.
