The interior design of the metro station presents different themes that alternate from time to time.
The current theme is "The Myth of Saint-Germain" - personalities who have contributed to the history of the neighborhood.
In the following photos taken that day, you can see the interior of a station, and some of the personalities appearing in the name of the station Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Translation of the text on the sign:
Saint Germain des Prés
Located in the heart of a district marked by unprecedented cultural excitement in the 20th century, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés station enjoys a special status within the Paris metro network. The RATP has always given a large place to arts and culture. You can notably admire the sculpture Les Messagers, a bronze by Gualtiero Busato, or even a mosaic by André Ropion paying homage to Gutenberg.
Since 2000, the centenary of the metro, its platforms have regularly hosted temporary exhibitions highlighting literary creation.
The new installation Le Mythe Saint-Germain: a loving lexicon now celebrates personalities, illustrious or sometimes unknown, who have contributed to writing the history of the neighborhood. Based on a name that alone evokes a thousand images and events, this gallery of portraits offers a literary stroll through the eras, from the birth of the station to the present day. It reveals, between stories and anecdotes, a little of this unique district which always embodies... a certain idea of a literate, chic, free and creative Paris.
