בית מאירוב
הבית המשמש היום את "המשכן לתרבות ואומנות" היה ביתם של פרידה ויהודה מאירוב, מראשוני קריית עבודה (1936).
יהודה היה מרפא שיניים בקריית עבודה. ב-1967 תרמה אשתו פרידה את הבית לעיריית חולון.
בתם ציפורה (1973-1896) הייתה אשתו של משה שרת, ראש ממשלת ישראל השני. בנם שאול מאירוב (אביגור) (1978-1899), היה ראש המוסד לעלייה ב’.
בבית הזה, בשנת 1953, הוקמה ’נתיב’ (לשכת הקשר הממשלתית), ששמרה על הקשר עם יהודי ברה"מ עד שנת 1990
הבית שופץ והורחב לראשונה ב- 1973, ע"י עיריית חולון.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

Meirov’s House
The house used today by the "Mishkan for Culture and Art" was the home of Frida and Yehuda Meirov, from the first Kiryat Avoda (1936).
Yehuda was a dentist in Kiryat Avoda. In 1967 his wife Frieda donated the house to the municipality of Holon.
Their daughter Tzipora (1896-1973) was the wife of Moshe Sharet, the second Prime Minister of Israel. Their son Shaul Meirov (Avigur) (1899-1978), was the head of the Mossad for Aliya B.
In this house, in 1953, ’Nativ’ (the government liaison office) was established, which maintained contact with the Jews of the USSR until 1990
The house was renovated and expanded for the first time in 1973, by the municipality of Holon.
