Square Laurent-Prache
1901

Laurent Praches, ancien conseiller municipal de la Ville de Paris (1856-1919), a donné son nom à ce jardin. On y trouve son effigie sur un médaillon du peintre, sculpteur et graveur François De Herain (1877-1962).
Le jardin borde l’église Saint-Germain-des-Prés, dont la construction fut décidée au VIe siècle par le roi mérovingien Childebert, pour y accueillir sa sépulture.

Laurent Praches, former municipal councilor of the City of Paris (1856-1919), gave his name to this garden. His effigy can be found on a medallion by the painter, sculptor and engraver François De Herain (1877-1962).
The garden borders the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church, the construction of which was decided in the 6th century by the Merovingian king Childebert, to accommodate his burial.
