On the sign:
A COMPÁS LA CERA LLORA

A COMPÁS LA CERA LLORA
CUANDO VIENE DE REGRESO,
QUEDANDO EN EL AIRE PRESO
TODO EL GRITO QUE LE IMPLORA.
SU LUZ EL ROSTRO LE DORA
DIBUJÁNDOLO EN SONRISAS,
Y AL DEJAR CABALLERIZAS
LOS BLANCOS MUROS ROZANDO,
UNA VOZ LE VA CANTANDO
AL SON DE LOS GUARDABRISAS.

Comments:
On the sign appears a poem by the poet Antonio Rodríguez Buzón (1913-1977).
The plaque features the Virgin of Grace and Hope, and the plaque commemorates the procession of the Brotherhood of San Roque, a Catholic order founded in Seville. The procession passes through this street on Palm Sunday (Sunday before Easter).

The sign was given by the poet himself to the owner of the house.

Translation of the text on the sign:
In time the wax cries

In time the wax cries
when he comes back,
left trapped in the air
all the cry that implores him.
Its light gilts your face
drawing it in smiles,
and when leaving stables
the white walls rubbing,
a voice is singing to him
to the sound of the windshields.

A.RODRIGUEZ-BUZON
