Café Günthner

A bakery was established in the home of Wilhelm Günthner, which became Cafe Günthner in 1934. The café was known for fine cakes served in a special atmosphere, and it brought together British, German and Jewish guests. After the founding of the state, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Supply occupied the building and later the management of the Israeli Military Industries and the rehabilitation branch of the Ministry of Defense.
