The sign is on the wall of the house where Benjamin Ungar lived - a cantor, born in Jasło, Poland (1907-1983), immigrated to Israel in 1938.
Cantor in many synagogues including the Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv.
Chairman of the Organization of Cantors in Israel, awarded with "Freedom of the City of Tel Aviv" (1983).
The sign was placed in 2007 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth.
