Training Center 1 From 1942 to 1948, the school for girls in Neve Tzedek was used by the Hagana - Israel’s pre-State army - for training in light weapons, fieldcraft, topography, first aid, signal communications, self-defense, and other needed skills. The site also served as an arms cache ("slick").
