בית ברנשטיין תוכנן ע"י האדריכל יצחק רפפורט ונבנה בשנת 1932. המבנה, בן שלוש קומות, ממוקם על פינת הרחובות יהודה הלוי ואלנבי, רחובות היסטוריים בעלי מרקם מבנים אחיד המשלבים קומה מסחרית ומגורים מעל. הוא חלק מאחוזת בית, בשכונת "חברה חדשה". הבניין נבנה בשלב מאוחר יחסית בהשוואה להתפתחות הבנייה באזור זה וכלל בראשיתו בנק, משרדים ומגורים.
השפה האדריכלית של המבנה כוללת את עקרונות הסגנון הבינלאומי אדריכלות נפחית א-סימטריה של החזיתות והימנעות מקישוטים. האדפטציה המקומית של הסגנון הבינלאומי נועדה בין היתר להתאים את הסגנון למאפיינים האקלימיים בארץ ישראל: גגונים אופקיים המדגישים את אופקיות המבנה ומונעים חדירה ישירה של קרני שמש, שימוש במרפסות כמקום להתקהלות חברתית ואלמנט הצללה ופרטי בניין ייחודיים המדגישים את המבניות והשימושים. ערכו ההיסטורי-חברתי של המבנה נעוץ בעובדה כי סגנונו מבקש לייצר סגנון חדש המגשר בין האומנות לאמנות. הפרוגרמה המשלבת בין בנק למגורים מצביעה על תפיסה חברתית חדשה המשלבת בין השניים. במסגרת שימור המבנה נוספו שלושה מפלסים חדשים, ובוצע שיקום של החזיתות ההיסטוריות ושיווק של חומרים ופרטי גמר מקוריים. שימור המבנה בוצע בשנת 2019 ע"י משרד ארכוד אדריכלים בע"מ.

The three-story Bernstein House, designed by architect Yitzhak Rapaport and built in 1932 is located at the corner of two historic streets - Yehuda Halevi and Allenby Streets. The building has a uniform structure in terms of height and a plan that combines a commercial floor and with residential space above. Located in the Ahuzat Bayit neighborhood, In the "New Society" neighborhood it was built at a relatively late period in comparison to the development of construction in this area. It initially included a bank, offices and residential space. The architectural language of the building includes the principles of the International Style: volumetric architecture, asymmetry of facades and avoidance of ornaments. Local adaptation of the International Style is designed inter alla to adapt the style to the climatic features of the Land of Israel. They include horizontal roofing that emphasizes the horizontal structure of the building and prevents direct penetration of the sun’s rays. The balconies were used as a place for socializing and as a shading element. Unique building details emphasize the structures and uses. The historical-social structure of the building lies in the fact that it seeks to create a new building style combining a residence and a bank and points to a new social perception that enables the combination of the two. Two new levels have been added to the building, and the restoration of the historical facades and the restoration of original materials and details have been carried out in 2019 by Arcod Architects Ltd.

لخطط المهندس المعماري يتسحاق را بهورت بيت برنشتاين وبني عام ١٩٣٢. يقع المبنى، المكون من ثلاثة طوابق، في زاوية الشارعين يهودا هليفي والتنبي، وهما شارعان تاريخيان فيهما نسيج ميان موخد يدمج طابقا تجاريا وفوقه مساكن. المبنى قسم من أحوزات بيت، في حي " مجتمع جديد". بني المبني في مرحلة متاهرة نسبيا بالمقارنة مع تطور البناء في هذه المنطقة، وشمل في بدايته بنك، مكاتب ومساكن. اللغة الهندسية للمبنى تشمل أسس الطراز الدولي: هندسة معمارية ذات حجم كبير، : الواجهات وتفادي الزخرفة، التكيف المحلي للنمط الدولي أعد أيضا لملاءمة الطراز مع الخصائص المناخية في إسرائيل: أسطح الفقية شيرت الخط الأفقي للمبنى وتمنع اختراقا مباشراً لأشعة الشمس، استخدام الشرفات كموقع للتجمعات الاجتماعية وعنصر تقليل وتفاصيل البناء الفريدة التي تبرز الهياكل والاستخدامات. مة التاريخية والاجتماعية للمبنى في حقيقة أن أسلوبه يسعى إلى إنشاء نمط البناء يربط بين الطراز التقليدي والفن. يشير التخطيط الذي يدمج بين بنك ومساكن إلى رؤية اجتماعية جديدة تدمج بين الاثنين. أضيف في إطار صيانة المبنى ثلاثة طوابق جديدة، وأجريت ترميمات للواجهات التاريخية، واستحدثت المواد وتفاصيل الإنهاء الأصلية، نفذ صيانة المبنى مكتب أركود للهندسة المعمارية عام ٢٠١٩.
