In the statue located in Palmer Square in Princeton, a young man is shown reading a book and holding a hamburger (or sandwich) in his hand. Similar statues of the same sculptor on the same subject with small changes in the sitting position are found in other places in the United States. This sculpture is the first in this series of sculptures, by the Princeton resident sculptor.
