The English Heritage Trust is a charity that cares for over 400 historical buildings, monuments and other places.
The sign is on the wall of the house where the stained glass artist Charles Eamer Kempe lived, who was known for the colored windows he created mainly for churches (more than 4,000 windows). This house also had his studio.
