The sign is on the wall of one of the buildings of the Technical University of Vienna. In the past there was the Armensünder (Poor Sinners) cemetery, where criminals and the poor were usually buried. Vivaldi came to Vienna to serve Emperor Charles VI, but shortly after Vivaldi arrived, the emperor died, leaving the composer penniless and without a patron.
On the same building there is also a plaque indicating the place where the brothers Johann and Josef Strauss studied Click for sign's details
