Comments:
The sign is on the wall of the house where Dan Tsalka lived - writer, born in Warsaw, Poland (1936-2005), immigrated to Israel in 1957.
He wrote dozens of books and won a number of awards including the Brenner Prize (1976), the Acum Lifetime Achievement Award (2000).
One of Tsalka’s books is called "Yehoash and the Riders of the Heavenly Chariot" and it tells about Shlomo Blumgarten, the translator of the Bible to Yiddish, whose nickname was Yehuash, and the street where Tsalka lived is named after him.
