מלון ניו-יורק הוקם בשנת 1924 כבנין דו-קומתי על-ידי האדריכל זליג אקסלרוד. הבניין מתוכנן, בהשפעת הבית הערבי-יפואי: שישה חדרים נסובים סביב חלל מרכזי המשמש למעבר ואירוח. באותה תקופה, בשונה מהיום, המלון שימש דיירים אשר שכרו בו דירות לזמן ממושך. בתחילת שנות ה-30 שינה הבנין את חזותו; נוספה לבנין קומה וכן שני ארקרים, מעין מרפסות בולטות מהחזית. המרפסות הקיימות הורחבו ונוספו עמודים התופרים את הבנין לאורכו.
עם התפתחות שדרות רוטשילד כמרכז עסקים וצמיחת בתי עסק, הוסב הבנין למשרדים, אך האווירה המיוחדת ורוח המקום מורגשת בו עד היום.

The New York Hotel was built in 1924 as a two-story building by architect Zelig Axelrod. The building is designed, under the influence of the Arab-Jaffa House: six rooms revolve around a central space used for passage and hospitality. At that time, unlike today, the hotel was used by tenants who rented apartments in it for a long time. In the early 1930s the building changed its appearance; A floor building was added as well as two archers, a kind of balconies protruding from the front. The existing balconies have been expanded and columns have been added that sew the building along its length.
With the development of Rothschild Boulevard as a business center and the growth of businesses, the building was converted into offices, but the special atmosphere and spirit of the place is felt in it to this day.
