The sign is on the wall of the house where Leib Glantz lived - cantor and composer, born in Kiev, Ukraine (1898-1964), immigrated to Israel in 1954.
Before immigrating to Israel, he immigrated to the United States (in the 1920s) and that’s where he was most active.
In Israel, in addition to being a cantor in a synagogue, he founded a cantor school, and also composed religious and secular hymns.
