"Tiferet Binyamin"
On the first day of Chol HaMoed of Sukkot, 1927, the cornerstone was laid by Baron Edmond Benjamin de Rothschild.
In 1928, the inauguration of the synagogue was celebrated with the participation of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook, the Chief Rabbi of Israel.
And Chief Rabbi R. Chaim Nahum of Egypt.
