[צד 2] [Side 2] When diesel locomotives entered service on Israel Railways in the late 1950s, the steam locomotives were retired. Israeli poet and songwriter Haim Hefer produced a short film in homage to the steam-powered machines and also wrotè the well-known song, "70414," performed by Arik Lavie. The film, made in the winter of 1957-1958, shows typical everyday travel of the time, including the train’s operation, and encounters among passengers as the train makes its way between and through the various statons.
