תחנת הכוח הראשונה בירושלים
בשנת 1928 הקימה חברת החשמל הבריטית - "בלפור ביטי" את תחנת-הכוח הראשונה בירושלים, בהתאם לתכנונו של האדריכל צ’ייקין. תחנת-הכוח פעלה עד שנת 1969. בשנת 1998 שוחזר המבנה המקורי ביוזמת חברת החשמל, ובשיתוף המועצה לשימור אתרי מורשת. השחזור נעשה על ידי האדריכלים יעקבי ופלדמן, וכיום משמשת התחנה כתחנת משנה.

The First Power Station in Jerusalem
The power station, erected in 1928 by "Balfour Beatty" using Benjamin Chaikin’s design, generated electricity until 1969. In 1998, under IEC’s initiative and participation of the Society for Preservation of Israel Heritage Sites, the structure was restored by architects Jacobi and Feldman. Today, it is a working substation.

في سنه ۱۹۲۸ انشات شركة الكهرباء من قبل شركة الكهرباء البريطانية بلفور بيتي " , بموجب تصميم وهندسة المصمم " تشيكن " , وعملت حتى سنة ۱۹٦ . في سنة 1998 تم استعادة المظهر الأصلي للمحطة بمبادرة شركة الكهرباء وبالتعاون مع المجلس من اجل الحفاظ على مواقع التراث , وبمساعدة المصمم يعقوبي فليمان , اليوم تعمل الشركة كشركه فرعيه

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
