הנכם נמצאים ליד התחנה הרביעית במסע ה-ל"ה, אנשי חי"ש ופלמ"ח שנחלצו לחוש לעזרת מגיני גוש-עציון המותקף והנצור. הלוחמים יצאו לדרכם מהרטוב עם לילה, אור לה’ בשבט תש"ח (16 בינואר 1948). עם בוקר נתגלו בלב שטח אויב ודרכם נחסמה. הם לחמו כל אותו יום מול אלפי ערבים שנזעקו מרחבי הסביבה והקיפום. הל"ה נפלו עד האחרון שבהם על "גבעת הקרב".

אנשי מחלקת ה-ל"ה המשיכו בדרכם. הפצוע התקשה להמשיך והוחלט להחזירו להרטוב, בליווי שניים מחבריו. במקום הזה, בשעה 01:00 בלילה, נפרדו השלושה מחבריהם, ושבו להרטוב עם בוקר. ה-ל"ה (35 לוחמים) המשיכו במסע לעבר גוש עציון.

The Convoy of 35 route
You are near the fourth stop on the Convoy of 35 journey, the men of Hish and Palmach who came to the aid of the defenders of the attacked and besieged Gush Etzion. The warriors set off from Har-Tov at night, January 16, 1948. In the morning they were discovered in the heart of enemy territory and their road was blocked. They fought all day in front of thousands of Arabs who were called from around the area and surrounded them. The Convoy of 35 fell to the last of them on "Battle Hill."

The members of the 35 department continued on their way. The wounded man found it difficult to continue and it was decided to return him to Har Tov, accompanied by two of his friends.
At this place, at 01:00 at night, the three parted from their friends, and returned to Har-Tov in the morning. The LH (35 fighters) continued their journey towards Gush Etzion.
