Translation of the text on the sign:

The first 42 ascended this hill
They set up their tents and founded the working group "Nana" called today Naan.
Here, on Sukkot, October 1930, the delegates of the second conference of the Histadrut Hanoar-Oved laid the cornerstone for the first group of the movement, a pioneer of dozens of kibbutzim founded by the Eretz Israel youth.
In this place the first hut, the first dining room, the first house, the security house and the first baby house were built. Above the roof of the house, observations were made for security purposes and there was a signal connection during the day and at night. This is where the first water pool was built.
