The grocery store and the secretariat The building was built by members of the village in the years 1947-1946.
In the first phase, the first floor was built, which served as a grocery store, and above it were two rooms intended for the secretariat and accounting.
On the roof of the grocery store, which was a kind of open terrace, general meetings were held. During the War of Independence, the roof and two secretariat rooms were used as the seat of the Southern Command.
A searchlight and a signaling device were placed on the roof of the building.
In 1951 the balcony was closed, and the building was used for film screenings, parties and holiday prayers.
In the 1970s, the secretariat was expanded to cover the entire second floor.
