Water Collection Pool

Translation of the text on the sign:
Symbol of the Minkov Museum

Water Collection Pool
Part of the orchard irrigation system that also served as a swimming pool for the children of Rehovot. The writer S. Yizhar wrote the story "bathing in a pool": "Indeed, those who do not know the taste of bathing in a clear pool, on a clear afternoon, when it is a bit forbidden, and when everything around is green and blue - nothing can be explained to him, just as it would not help if you come to a blind man to tell him, what Blue and what green!
