שם מדעי : Citrus paradisi x Citrus maxima
ממשפחת ההדרים הדו-פסגיים. נוצרה בישראל בשנת 1984 מהכלאה בין פומלה לבין אשכולית. הפומלית דומה לאשכולית, אך קליפתה ירקרקה וטעמה מתוק בגלל רמת חומציות נמוכה, הפרי מיוצא לעולם תחת השם Sweetie בגלל מתיקות הפרי. הפומלית מכילה כמות גבוהה של נוגדי חימצון, שמסייעים להורדת רמות כולסטרול רע. הפומלית פורחת באביב והפרי מבשיל בחודשים אוקטובר - נובמבר וניתן להשיגה בשווקים עד תחילת האביב.

Oroblanco
Scientific name: Citrus paradisi x Citrus maxima
From the Dicotyledon citrus family. Created in Israel in 1984 from a hybrid between pomelo and grapefruit. The oroblanco is similar to grapefruit, but its skin is greenish and tastes sweet due to low acidity, the fruit is exported to the world under the name Sweetie because of the sweetness of the fruit. Oroblanco contains a high amount of antioxidants, which help lower bad cholesterol levels. The oroblanco blooms in spring and the fruit ripens in October-November and is available in the markets until early spring.
