אָמְרָה נֶחָמָה.
"הָעוֹלָם מָלֵא אוֹיְבִים," אָמְרוּ לָהּ,
"יְלָדִים מִתְגָרְדִים, הוֹרִים עַצְבָּנִיִים,
תַּכְשִׁירִים מְסֻכָּנִים, מַסְרְקִים צְפוּפִים.
כֻּלָּם שׁוֹנְאִים אֶת הַכִּינִים.
תִּשָּׁאֲרִי כָּאן, תִּהְיִי כְּמוֹ כֻּלָּם."
אֲבָל הַכִּנָּה הַקְטַנָּה נֶחָמָה נָשְׁמָה נְשִׁימָה עָמֻקָה ואָמְרָה:
"אֲנִי אֵצֵא אֶל הָעוֹלָם."

Dangerous preparations, crowded combs.
Everyone hates lice.
Stay here, be like everyone else. "
