The sign is in the house where David Perlov lived - film director, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (1930-2003), immigrated to Israel in 1958.
Made dozens of films, most of them documentaries. Winner of the Israel Award for Cinema (1999) and the Ophir Award for Lifetime Achievement (1995).
The Perlov competition for documentary filmmakers is named after him.
