The sign is placed in the house where he lives - Benjamin Tene - writer, poet and translator - born in Warsaw, Poland (1914-1999), immigrated to Israel in 1937. He wrote many books for children and youth, and was also the editor of the childrens newspaper "Mishmar for Children". Received the Zeev Prize for childrens and youth literature (1974). Benjamin Tene lived in this house until his death, his wife continued to live in the house. The street was an attempt to establish a kind of artists colony in Tel Aviv.
