Translation of the text on the sign: Rabinovich Hotel (Rich) This building was owned by Ephraim Halperin. He served as a hotel under the management of Shabtai Rabinowitz and was called "Herzliya" and later "Zion". On Passover (1905), Shabtai , his wife Riza-Hinde and their son David immigrated to settle in Petah Tikva. Shabtai had the nickname "Der Schwarzer" (the black one), to distinguish it from his brother, Israel, who owned a workers hotel on 11 Pinsker Street.
