בית יד לבנים - בית הפקידות

הבית (משמאל, בחלקו הדרומי של המתחם) נבנה בסביבות שנת תרנ"ד, 1894. מבנה זה שהיה הגדול והמפואר ביותר במושבה, שימש למגורי פקיד הברון, חיים חזן, וכמרכז אדמיניסטרטיבי של הנהלת המושבות. בשנת תרנ"ט, 1898, התארח בבית בנימין זאב הרצל במסגרת ביקורו בארץ ישראל.
במהלך המאה ה-20 שכנו בבית משרדי פיק"א ומשרדי הנהלת היקבים. במקום התגוררו גם מנהלי היקב, זאב גלוסקין ויעקב שפירא.
כיום משמשים הבית והמבנים שלידו כבית יד-לבנים.

"yad La’banim" - Memorial to the Fallen Soldiers - Baron Rothschild’s Administration Center

The house (on the southern side of the complex), built in the 1890’s, was the largest and most impressive building in the village. It served as home and offices of the Baron’s chief administrator. In 1898 Theodor Herzl was photographed on its balcony.
Today the complex serves as a memorial commemorating the fallen soliders. of Rishon Le-Zion who died for their country.
