פסל הלויתן
על פי המסופר בספר יונה, הצטווה יונה הנביא על ידי האל ללכת לנינווה, ולבשר לתושביה כי חטאו לאלוהים. יונה סירב ועלה על אוניה בנמל יפו לכיוון תרשיש. בלב ים פרצה סערה ויונה הבין שזהו עונשו וביקש שישליכוהו לים. בים נבלע יונה על ידי דג גדול ולאחר שהאל מחל לו הוקא יונה ממעי הדג ופנה להינבא בנינוה, כפי שצווה.

اسفينة في ميناء با وفقا لما ذكر في الكتاب المقدس عن يونان ( النبي يونس ) . أمر الله يونس بالذهاب إلى نينوى ، ليهدي اهلها بسبب خطيئتهم . رفض يونس ذلك وركب سفينة في ميناء يافا نحو ترشيش . هبت عاصفة في عرض البحر فأدرك بأن هذا عقابه وطلب برميه في البحر في البحر ابتلعنه سمكة كبيرة ، لكن بعد مغفرة الله له خرج يونس من امعاء السمكة واجه الى نشر النبوءة في نينوى ، كما أمره

The Whale Sculpture
According to the biblical book of Jonah, God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell its inhabitants that they had sinned. But Jonah refused and instead, boarded a ship in the Jaffa port bound for Tarshish. During the voyage a storm broke out Jonah understood that this was his punishment, and asked to be thrown into the sea, where he was swallowed by a great fish. Afterward God forgave Jonah and the great fish spit him out Jonah then went on to Nineveh to prophesy as he had been commanded.
