The sign is on the wall of the house where he lived and where the studio of the painter Yona Lotan (1926-1998) was
Born in Lithuania, immigrated to Israel in 1936.
Lotan studied engineering, and served as a road engineer in the army.
He came to painting later, mainly through self-study. Painter in an abstract style where his paintings consist mainly of geometric shapes.
