Born in Łańcut, Poland (1897-1969), immigrated to Israel in 1921. Known mainly as a photographer who immortalized the Jewish settlement in the 1920s and 1930s, and also as the one who founded the "Eden" cinema in Jerusalem. Beginning in the 1940s, he began to engage in architectural projects, including the People’s House in Jerusalem, the Taggart Police Forts, and more.
