orn in Odessa, Ukraine (1876-1943), immigrated to Israel in 1907. He studied architecture in Odessa and St. Petersburg even before immigrating to Israel. He designed many famous buildings in Israel, including: Herzliya Gymnasium, Bikur Kholim Hospital in Jerusalem, as well as many houses in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
