[Kat]Architect[/Kat] Born in Viļaka, Latvia (1902-1981), immigrated to Israel in 1924. Even before immigrating to Israel, he studied architecture at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. He was the head of the technical department of the settlement department of the Jewish Agency. He designed many buildings in different kibbutzim, observatories in nature reserves and more. He also specialized in furniture design, and even created a series of furniture for King Abdullah I of Jordan.
