Born in Bayreuth, Germany (1797-1863).
A German-born Austrian architect who worked in Europe and designed many buildings.
Forster designed the well-known ring road of Vienna.
Although he was not a Jew, he designed synagogues in various places, the best known of which is the Synagogue in Budapest.
