Miriam Chalfi (Barukh) - Born in Sokolow, Poland (1917-2002), she immigrated to Israel in 1925. Poet and sculptor. Some of her poems have been published under the pen name Miriam Baruch, mainly to separate her occupation as a sculptor.
Where she lived in Tel Aviv with her husband Shimshon Halafi, a commemorative sign also appears on the website
