Born in St. Petersburg, Russia (1900-1975), immigrated to Israel in 1924. In 1917 he began his studies of architecture and building engineering in London. He worked mainly in the city of Haifa, was a member of the team that prepared the master plan for the city, and also designed many buildings, including the Dan Carmel Hotel, the Armon cinema and more. He was chairman of the Association of Engineers and Architects in Israel.
