Templar born in Israel (1878-1949), lived in Jaffa and later moved to Sarona, Johann Martin Wennagel Joseph’s father came to Israel in 1870 to help design the Templar houses. His son Hugo is also an architect who also designed houses in Sarona. Among the other buildings, Josef designed the water tower that was in Sarona and the first houses in Wilhelma (now Bnei Atarot). He also designed houses in Degania and Kinneret, railroads and more.
