The sign is on the wall of the building where he lived - Paul Ben Haim, composer, born in Munich, Germany (1897-1984), immigrated to Israel in 1933.
Even before immigrating to Israel, he was already known as a composer, and also served as Kapellmeister at the Augsburg Opera.
One of the well-known classical composers in Israel.
Winner of the Israel Prize for Music (1957), as well as many other awards, including the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
