The sign is on the wall of the house where they lived: Hanna Ben-Ari - radio announcer, playwright and translator - was born in Berlin, Germany (1978-1928), immigrated to Israel in 1938. She was an announcer on "Kol Hagana" and later on "Kol Israel". She wrote and translated some plays with her husband Avraham Ninio .
Avraham Ninio - theater actor and director, born in Alexandria, Egypt (1918-1985), immigrated to Israel in 1927. After acting in the acting studio, he moved to the "Habima" theater where he acted and also directed many plays. He also directed for other theaters.
